Why, oh why, do people persist in riding their bikes on pavements? I’m sure Wandsworth by-laws are no different from anywhere else so it would be good if the Council encouraged its law enforcement officers and associates in the local Police Shop to actively stop bike riding taking place where it shouldn’t.
One day someone will be hurt.

I agree that it is wrong that people on bikes use the pavement and we all know that it will take a fatality for the Council/Governement to do something about it.
I do not expect them to have bike lanes like in Holland over night because we know it will never enter their minds but a bit of cooporation on their part would be appreciated as well as go a long way towards local relationships with the Concil representatives
